About Minions

Released in 2015, "Minions" is a comedy film that serves as a spin-off prequel to the "Despicable Me" franchise, portraying the origin story of the lovable yellow creatures known as Minions. The narrative centers around Minions Kevin, Stuart, and Bob, who embark on a journey to find and serve the most despicable master they can find, eventually coming under the employ of super-villainess Scarlet Overkill.

Making / Production

The movie was produced by Illumination Entertainment and directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, with Chris Renaud and Eric Guillon as the art directors. Cinematography was done by Pablo García Reitboeck while editing was executed by Claire Dodgson.
