About Moana Sing-Along

Released in 2017, the "Moana Sing-Along" is a special version of the popular Disney animated movie, Moana (2016). This audience-interactive version invites viewers to sing along to the award-winning soundtrack, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Mark Mancina. The story revolves around Moana, the strong-willed daughter of a chief of a Polynesian village, chosen by the ocean itself to reunite a mystical relic with the goddess Te Fiti. When a blight strikes her island, Moana sets off on an epic journey across the Pacific to save her people.

Making / Production

Following the success of the original film, Disney released the sing-along version, essentially repurposing the film with on-screen lyrics for all the music and song sequences. The sing-along version of "Moana" is directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, with Osnat Shurer as the producer.
