'Mr Inbetween' is an Australian television show originated in 2018, based on the short film 'The Magician' by Scott Ryan. Making / Production
Scott Ryan originally created the character Ray Shoesmith for his film 'The Magician'. After filmmaker and actor Nash Edgerton saw the film, he decided to work with Ryan to adapt the concept into a TV series. The show aired on FX and Showcase and is produced by Blue-Tongue Films and Jungle Entertainment. Despite its low budget, the show succeeded in creating high-quality production and compelling storytelling.
