About The Musketeers
The Musketeers is a swashbuckling historical drama set in 17th century Paris, based classic characters from Alexandre Dumas’s novel 'The Three Musketeers'. The plot revolves around a trio of soldiers in the French army known as 'The Musketeers' who fight for justice, integrity and honor while getting drawn into battles and intrigues in the royal court. It's a riveting mix of action, romance, deceit and adventure.

This series, produced by BBC, made its debut in 2014 and ran for three seasons till 2016. The show was primarily filmed in the Czech Republic. The narrative was updated for a modern audience by Adrian Hodges but maintains realistic historical references.
