About My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising

Released in 2019, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising is a Japanese animated film and the second installment in the "My Hero Academia" anime series. The film follows the students of U.A. High School's Class 1-A as they work on their ultimate hero work-study experience on the isolated Nabu Island. The situation spirals out of control when the island's inhabitants are attacked by a villain, requiring the young heroes to rise up and fight.

The movie was produced by Bones and distributed by Toho. Kenji Nagasaki directed the film, with Yoshihiko Umakoshi as the character designer. The screenplay was done by Yōsuke Kuroda.
