About Nancy Drew

"Nancy Drew," a mystery series released in 2019, follows the eponymous character, Nancy Drew. After her mother's untimely death, Nancy abandons her plans for college and ends up working as a waitress in her small hometown. Sensing a mystery when she and her friends become witnesses in a murder case, Nancy's old habits take hold, and she begins an investigation, which immerses her deep into a world of supernatural encounters and dark secrets of the town.

Developed by Noga Landau, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage for the CW, the series is an adaptation of a series of books written by multiple authors under the pseudonym of Carolyn Keene during the 1930s. A mystery with a supernatural twist, the series was filmed primarily in Vancouver, British Columbia.
