About Naruto Shippuden

Naruto Shippuden is an anime series that aired from 2007 to 2017. The series is a sequel to the original Naruto anime and depicts Naruto Uzumaki's life two years after he returns from training with Jiraiya. The plot focuses on his efforts to save his best friend Sasuke and the village from the great danger posed by the criminal organization Akatsuki, led by Uchiha Madara. The show also explores Naruto's path to becoming the Hokage, a title bestowed on the village leader.
