National Treasure: Book of Secrets is a 2007 adventure film, a sequel to the 2004 film National Treasure. The movie, directed by Jon Turteltaub, presents another thrilling adventure of Benjamin Gates (played by Nicolas Cage), a treasure hunter.
When a missing page from the diary of John Wilkes Booth surfaces, Benjamin's great-grandfather is implicated as a key conspirator in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. The page is one of 18 missing from Booth's diary. Thomas Gates, Ben's great-grandfather, is mentioned on the page. This leads Ben, his father, his girlfriend Abigail, and his goofy sidekick, Riley, on a globetrotting adventure to clear their family name.
