About Nisekoi

Nisekoi, translated as "False Love," is a romantic comedy anime series. The story revolves around high school students Raku Ichijo and Chitoge Kirisaki, who are forced into a fake relationship to maintain peace between their feuding gangster families. Additionally, Raku's heart is set on another girl, Kosaki Onodera, creating a complex love triangle. The series is an amusing play of misunderstandings, memory loss, and secret loves. Based on the manga of the same name by Naoshi Komi, Nisekoi premiered in 2014.

Making / Production

Nisekoi was created by animation studio Shaft and directed by Akiyuki Shinbo. It was initially a manga series published in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump from November 2011 until August 2016. The anime adaptation first aired on Tokyo MX in Japan from January to May 2014.

Actors
