About Noelle

"Noelle", a 2019 Christmas film produced by Walt Disney pictures revolves around the story of Noelle Kringle, played by Anna Kendrick, who is the daughter of Kris Kringle (Santa Claus). In the movie, Noelle who was always full of holiday spirit and cheer, is pushed into a new role after her father dies and her brother, Nick Kringle, disappears while delivering presents. Noelle takes up the family business and proves that Santa’s role can be filled by anyone with the right spirit.

The film was officially announced in January 2017 and was filmed throughout winter in Phoenix, Arizona and Vancouver, British Columbia. "Noelle" was directed by Marc Lawrence and produced by Suzanne Todd. It was initially set to have a theatrical release in 2019, but was later released on the Disney+ streaming service.
