About Noragami

Indeed, Noragami is an anime TV series that was originally released in 2010. Based on a Japanese manga of the same name, the show revolves around a minor deity named Yato who dreams of having millions of devotees but has zero shrines to his name. Hence, he takes odd jobs hoping to raise enough money to build himself a shrine, all the while aiding humans with their problems. The plot thickens when Yato helps Hiyori, a human girl, who later turns part-spirit, giving the show a mix of action, drama, and supernatural elements.

Produced by Bones and directed by Kotaro Tamura, Noragami is known for its high-quality animation and balanced narrative style. The manga was written and illustrated by Adachitoka and adapted into anime. The first season comprises 12 episodes, and due to high popularity, it was followed by a second season titled "Noragami Aragoto" in 2015.
