"Nymphomaniac Volume I - Extended Director's Cut" is an experimental drama, directed and written by Lars von Trier. The film follows the erotic journey of a woman, from birth until the age of 50. After being found beaten in an alley by an asexual man Seligman, she recounts her life story, filled with countless sexual adventures to the man who saved her.
