"Office Space" is a satirical comedy film, released on February 19, 1999, which depicts the life of office workers and their disgruntlement with their jobs and bosses. Directed by Mike Judge, the film humorously portrays the mundane, repetitive, and frustrating nature of corporate office jobs.

The plot revolves around a software engineer named Peter Gibbons, who undergoes hypnotherapy to erase the worries about his job at Initech. However, the hypnotherapy session goes wrong, leading Peter to become completely nonchalant about his work, which ironically highlights him as valuable employee potential in the eyes of the company's management.
