About OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes

"OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes" is an animated television series that aired from 2013. Created by Cartoon Network Studios, the show follows the story of K.O., a young boy who aspires to become the world's greatest hero. Set in the futuristic year of 201X, K.O. works at Gar's Hero Supply and Bodega, a store in Lakewood Plaza that caters to heroes. Throughout the series, K.O. battles various villains, learns the true meaning of being a hero, and discovers more about his colleagues and the world he lives in.

The show was created by Ian Jones-Quartey and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The idea sprung from Jones-Quartey's animated shorts, "Lakewood Plaza Turbo," which he developed as part of Cartoon Network's Summer 2013 shorts program.
