Operation Dumbo Drop is a 1995 war comedy film directed by Simon Wincer. Set during the Vietnam War, the movie follows the story of a Green Beret and his team as they try to transport an elephant through jungle terrain. The plot instigates when a villager's elephant is killed in action. The U.S. army decides to replace it, for which they arrange a parachute drop.
