About

Paranormal is an Egyptian TV show that premiered on Netflix in 2020. The series is based on the famous Egyptian novelist Ahmed Khaled Tawfik's book series about supernatural occurrences and mysteries in Egypt.

The story is set in the 1960s and follows the life of Dr. Refaat Ismail, a hematology professor, skeptic, and single man whose world is turned upside down when he starts experiencing paranormal activities. As Refaat delves deeper into these unexplained events, he begins to question his beliefs and confront long-buried traumas.
