Paranormal Activity 2 is a 2010 American found footage supernatural horror film directed by Tod Williams and written by Michael R. Perry. The film is a prequel to the 2007 film Paranormal Activity, beginning two months before and following up with the events depicted in the original film.

The plot centers around a family that starts experiencing paranormal occurrences after a new baby is brought home. Things become horrifying when these occurrences start escalating, turning aggressive.

Making/Production

The movie was produced by Jason Blum and Oren Peli, with Steven Schneider as executive producer. The production team used a professional movie camera for the majority of the filming and only a part of the footage was produced with a home video camera.
