About The Path
The Path is an American television drama series that debuted on March 30, 2016, on Hulu. The show portrays the lives of the members of a fictional religion known as Meyerism. The Path follows the lives of Eddie Lane (Aaron Paul), his wife Sarah (Michelle Monaghan), and Cal Roberts (Hugh Dancy), the charismatic and ambitious cult leader in the Meyerist Movement in upstate New York. The series examines their faith and the associated issues it brings up including power struggles, relationships, and the thin line between good and evil.
