About The Perfect Guy (2015)

The Perfect Guy is a romantic thriller film directed by David M. Rosenthal. It narrates the tale of a successful lobbyist, Leah Vaughn, who breaks up with her long-term boyfriend, hoping to find a man with whom she can start a family. She becomes involved with a charismatic stranger, who's not what he seems to be.

The movie was produced by Screen Gems. It was shot in Los Angeles and was released in the United States on September 11, 2015. The Director of Photography was Peter Simonite and the film editing was done by Joan Sobel.

Actors

• Sanaa Lathan plays the role of Leah Vaughn. As the protagonist, Sanaa effortlessly portrays Leah's vulnerability and strength in equal measure.
• Michael Ealy plays the character of Carter Duncan. He delivers a convincing performance as a charming suitor who reveals a sinister side.
• Morris Chestnut plays Dave, Leah's former boyfriend who still cares for her deeply. Chestnut splendidly exhumes emotions of love, concern and rage in his performance.
