"Phil Spector" is an American television drama film that was released by HBO in 2013. The film is based on the life of the record producer, songwriter, and convicted murderer, Phil Spector. The movie explores the relationship between Spector and his defense attorney Linda Kenney Baden while the music business legend was on trial for the murder of Lana Clarkson. In spite of the evidence against him, Baden, played by Helen Mirren, chose to defend him in his trial.
