This episode is set in a parallel universe to Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. It tells the story of stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb, rebellious Candace, and their family droid Perry, whose lives are inadvertently intertwined with the adventures of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.

Making / Production

The idea of doing a Star Wars-themed episode for "Phineas and Ferb" commenced when creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, who are also big fans of the Star Wars franchise, got the green light from Disney, after it acquired Lucasfilm in 2012. The episode uses the original John Williams' scores from the Star Wars films, blending it perfectly with the comic aesthetics of the show.
