Pineapple Express is a popular 2008 American stoner action comedy film directed by David Gordon Green, and produced by Judd Apatow. The screenplay was written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The plot centers around a process server and his marijuana dealer who wind up on the run from hitmen and a corrupt police officer after he witnesses his dealer's boss murdering a competitor.
