A thrilling adventure sails the high seas once again in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'. This is the fifth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Captain Jack Sparrow is pursued by an old nemesis, Armando Salazar, an undead sea captain and his crew. To survive, Jack seeks the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that grants its possessor total control over the seas.

Making / Production

The making of the film began in the year 2013. The movie was made under the direction of Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Filming took place in Australia's Village Roadshow Studios and the script was written by Jeff Nathanson. This marked the first film in the series to not feature Hans Zimmer as composer. Instead, the music was composed by Geoff Zanelli.
