About Platinum End

Platinum End is a thrilling anime TV series, based on the manga series written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. The high-stakes story revolves around Mirai Kakehashi, a high school student who lost hope in life and contemplates suicide, but is saved by his guardian angel, Nasse. After being chosen by his guardian angel, Mirai was given two special powers - the power to fly and the power to kill. In the race against time, he is offered a chance to become God but has to compete against 12 other chosen ones.

The series is a production of Signal.MD and is directed by Hideya Takahashi. scripts were handled by Shinichi Inotsume. The iconic duo Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata collaborated again after their successful manga series 'Death Note' and 'Bakuman'.
