About Ploey: You Never Fly Alone

Ploey: You Never Fly Alone is a 2018 Icelandic CGI animated adventure film, that tells a heart-warming tale about determination, bravery, friendship, and family. The central character of the movie is a young plover bird named Ploey, who hasn't learnt how to fly when his family migrates in the autumn. Left alone, he needs to survive the harsh winter, vicious enemies and himself in order to be reunited with his beloved one next spring.

The film was produced by GunHil, a production company based in Iceland and distributed by Ardarann. Directed by Árni Ásgeirsson, the film was made over a period of several years with a dedicated team of animation professionals.
