About Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior

The 2009 movie, Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior, focuses on the legendary Pokémon Giratina and its feud with Dialga. In 'Reverse World', an altered dimension inhabited by Giratina, the balance of time and space is disrupted, and it is up to Ash, Pikachu, and their friends to settle the disturbance. They are aided by Shaymin, the Gratitude Pokémon, who has the ability to cleanse areas of corruption.

Making / Production

The film is directed by Kunihiko Yuyama, it is the 11th film in the Pokémon film series created by Satoshi Tajiri, Junichi Masuda, and Ken Sugimori. Released initially in Japan in 2008, the movie was dubbed in English in 2009 and released in America and other countries internationally. The movie took nearly a year to make, with the animation team working tirelessly to capture the ever-evolving virtual world of Pokémon.
