Polaroid is a 2019 horror film released by Dimension Films, based on the 2015 short film of the same name. The storyline follows a high school girl, who stumbles upon a vintage Polaroid camera that houses a terrible secret: anyone who has their picture taken by it meets a tragic and violent end.

Making / Production

The film was directed by Lars Klevberg, who also directed the original short film. The scriptwriting is credited to Blair Butler.

Actors

• Kathryn Prescott as Linda: She played the main role of a high school loner who comes across the Polaroid camera. Prescott's portrayal of Linda was applauded for bringing depth to the fearful teenager.
• Tyler Young as Connor: He played the role of Linda's school friend who later becomes a victim of the camera.
• Samantha Logan as Kasey: She depicted the character of Linda's best friend who helps investigate the curse of the camera.
