Power Book III: Raising Kanan is a prequel set in the 1990s that chronicles the early years of Kanan Stark, the character first introduced in Power. The series showcases his complicated relationship with his mother, who is a drug queenpin, and his years growing into the notorious character as seen in the main Power series.
