Primeval is a British science fiction drama television series which debuted in 2007. The series follows a group of scientists who investigate and deal with temporal anomalies that allow dinosaurs and other creatures from the past and future to invade the present day.

Making / Production

The series was created by Adrian Hodges and Tim Haines, produced by Impossible Pictures and it aired on ITV. The series was notable for its ground-breaking special effects, involving extensive use of CGI for the creature sequences.

Actors

• Andrew Lee Potts as Connor Temple - A geeky but lovable character who has an extensive knowledge about dinosaurs and uses it to help his team tackle the threats from the past.
• Hannah Spearritt as Abby Maitland - A zoologist with a special affection for reptiles who becomes an integral part of the team.
• Douglas Henshall as Nick Cutter - Evolutionary zoologist who leads the team on their dangerous missions.
