Project Runway: Junior, a spinoff of Project Runway, is a fascinating reality television series that first aired in 2015. In this competition, teenage fashion designers, ranging in age from 13 to 17, compete in design challenges with the aim of winning scholarships for their art and design schools, along with other prizes to help launch their careers in the fashion industry.

Making / Production

Project Runway: Junior is produced by the Weinstein Company, Sara Rea Productions, and Full Picture. The series, like its parent show, follows the same format of giving contestants design challenges each week. The designs are judged by a panel of judges, and one or more designers are eliminated each week until the final contestants compete in a full fashion show.
