About A Promise (2014)

"A Promise" is a romantic drama film, set in pre-World War I Germany. The film is directed by Patrice Leconte, based on Stefan Zweig's novel "Journey into the Past". It revolves around a love triangle between an industrialist, his young secretary, and his charming wife, played by Alan Rickman, Richard Madden, and Rebecca Hall respectively.
