Directed by filmmaker Oliver Stone, the series comprises of four interviews between Stone and Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia. These interviews conducted between 2015 to 2017 give an in-depth understanding of Putin, his views on major geopolitical events during his tenure, and his relationships with world leaders.

The series was directed and executively produced by iconic filmmaker, Oliver Stone. Conducted over a span of two years, the documentary was intended to provide a raw, unfiltered portrayal of the controversial Russian President Vladimir Putin.
