About Quack Pack

"Quack Pack" is a US animated television series from Walt Disney Television Animation that aired from April 6, 1996 to November 28, 1996. It follows the life of Donald Duck and his nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Unlike other shows featuring these classic characters, "Quack Pack" gives them a new modern look, with the nephews now teenagers and Donald Duck working as a cameraman alongside news reporter Daisy Duck.

Making / Production

The series was produced by Toby Shelton, Karl Geurs, and Kevin Hopps. It was an attempt by Disney to create a more modern and relatable series with the character Donald Duck and his adventures. The series, however, had a mixed response from audiences and is often seen as an experiment that didn't pan out as expected.

Actors

  • Donald Duck voiced by Tony Anselmo - Tony continues to give life to the character he's known for, but this time providing a more tired, everyday-worker aspect to Donald just trying to survive his unruly nephews.
  • Huey, Dewey, and Louie voiced by Russi Taylor - In a departure from their usual mischievous but lovable selves, Russi makes the nephews into typical teenagers, each with their unique attitudes and personalities.
  • Daisy Duck voiced by Tress MacNeille - Tress interpret Daisy as a self-confident and ambitious news reporter, a slight shift from her typical refined, demure image.
