Queen of the World is a television documentary series that offers an insight into Queen Elizabeth II's role as a figure on the global stage. Throughout her reign, the Queen has been responsible for The Commonwealth, an association of 53 sovereign nations. First broadcast on ITV, the documentary contains behind-the-scenes moments with the Queen and other members of the Royal Family including the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the Princess Royal, and the Countess of Wessex.

Making / Production

The production team of Queen of the World documentary were given unique access to The Queen, her family, her staff and her homes. Cameras were allowed close-quarters filming of the sovereign and followed Her Majesty's engagements at home and overseas. The unique aspect of this documentary is its focus on the Queen’s role as head of the Commonwealth, and the baton she is passing to the younger members of the Royal Family.
