About "The Reef 2: High Tide"

"The Reef 2: High Tide" is a 2012 South Korean-American direct-to-video 3D computer-animated family action film and sequel to the 2006 animated film, The Reef. The film tells the story of Pi, an ordinary fish with a very protective streak who battles against Troy, a merciless shark. Despite winning the initial war against Troy, his return causes panic and turmoil in the reef. To save his family and loved ones, Pi must train his fellow fish to fight.

Making / Production

The film was co-produced by South Korean production company CJ Entertainment and American production company The Weinstein Company. It was directed by Mark A.Z. Dippé and Taedong Park.

Actors

  • Drake Bell : Voiced Pi, the heroic fish with a protective streak. His performance added depth and character to this marine hero.
  • Jamie Kennedy : Provided the voice for the villainous shark, Troy. Jamie successfully portrayed a dangerous and intimidating character for the movie.
  • Robby Rist : Played Nerissa, a seasoned resident of the reef who aids Pi. Robby's performance added a level of experienced wisdom to the character.
