About Regular Show

"Regular Show" is an American animated television series that originally ran from 2010 to 2017 on Cartoon Network. Created by J.G Quintel, the show centers around two best friends and groundskeepers, Mordecai (a six-foot-tall blue jay) and Rigby (a hyperactive raccoon). The series takes viewers on a surreal, comical journey as Mordecai and Rigby turn their everyday jobs and lives into extraordinary adventures.

Making / Production

The series was developed based on J.G. Quintel's short animated film, "2 in the AM PM". The animation style of "Regular Show" is heavily inspired by Quintel's love for classic 1980s-era television series. It was produced using traditional animation methods, which according to Quintel, brings "a certain aesthetic to the medium."
