About The Rescue

The Rescue is a 2021 documentary film directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin that shares the unbelievable story of the 2018 Tham Luang cave rescue in Thailand. A youth soccer team and their coach become trapped in a cave by monsoon flooding, and it's up to the skilled divers from the around the world to pull off a daring rescue mission.
