Directed by Andy Señor Jr. and Victor Patrick Alvarez, 'Revolution Rent' is a documentary film depicting the art-joy culture of Cuba. The film tells the story of Andy Señor Jr., who is given the chance to direct a stage production of the musical 'Rent' in Havana, Cuba. This production is significant as it's the first Broadway musical produced by an American company in Cuba for over 50 years. Señor Jr. took this opportunity to explore his Cuban heritage and the role of theater for change in the culturally rich country of Cuba.
