About RoboCop 2

RoboCop 2 is a science fiction action film released in 1990. It is the sequel to the first RoboCop film of 1987. Directed by Irvin Kershner, the plot centers around RoboCop discovering a new drug plaguing the streets of Detroit dubbed "Nuke" and his attempts to bring down its creator, a psychotic criminal named Cain. At the same time, the police force is on strike, and corporate giant OCP is taking further unjust steps to control the city. A summary in parts would unveil the true unforgiving, crime-filled environment set in a not-so-distant dystopian future.

Making / Production

The film is directed by Irvin Kershner with Orion Pictures as the production company. Frank Miller and Walon Green assisted in the screenplay, and it was produced by Jon Davison. Cinematography was done by Mark Irwin, resulting in the gritty and dark visuals of the film.
