About Role Models
"Role Models" is a hilarious comedy film released in 2008. Directed by David Wain, it follows the story of two energy drink salesmen, Wheeler and Danny, who, following a series of unfortunate events, find themselves brown-nosing with the law. To avoid jail time, they choose to perform community service at a mentoring program. Here, they are assigned to mentor a pair of problematic kids, a geeky teen and a young terror. Amid chaos, threesome language and hilarity ensue as they form an unlikely bond and learn about responsibility in the most unconventional ways.

The script for "Role Models" was written by Timothy Dowling and Wain & Ken Marino. The film is produced by Luke Greenfield, Mary Parent and Matthew Seigel, alongside executive producers William Sherak and Jason Shuman. It was edited by Eric Kissack and was a production of Universal Pictures.
