Samurai Jack is an American animated television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network. The series ran from 2001 to 2004 and was revived in 2017 for a final season. The plot hones in on the titular character, Jack, a samurai hurled far into the future who embarks on a quest to travel back in time and defeat the tyrannical demonic wizard Aku, who spread darkness across his homeland.
