"San Andreas" is an American disaster film produced by Beau Flynn and directed by Brad Peyton. Released in 2015 by Warner Bros. The film revolves around a series of catastrophic earthquakes along the San Andreas Fault triggering an intensity 9 earthquake. A Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter-rescue pilot (Dwayne Johnson) and his ex-wife (Carla Gugino) attempts to leave Los Angeles and head to San Francisco to find and rescue their daughter (Alexandra Daddario).

Making / Production

The film was announced in December 2011, with Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore to write the script. The principal photography of the movie began on April 22, 2014, in Australia and ended on July 27. The film underwent a series of re-shoots in the city of Los Angeles in October 2014. The visual effects for the film were provided by Hydraulx, Cinesite, and Image Engine, among others.
