About

Sausage Party takes place in a grocery store called Shopwell's, where all the food items believe that being purchased by humans is the ultimate goal and guarantees their entry into a heavenly "Great Beyond." Among the supermarket items are Frank, a sausage, and his love interest Brenda, a hot dog bun. However, when Frank learns the disturbing truth about the Great Beyond from a returned jar of Honey Mustard, he becomes determined to warn his fellow food items about their fate.

Frank, Brenda, and a group of misfit friends including a Jewish bagel, a lavash, a taco, and a lesbian taco named Teresa, embark on a dangerous and hilarious journey to the human world outside the grocery store in order to uncover the truth. Along the way, they encounter various challenges and obstacles, including an angry douche, who seeks revenge after being discarded by a human.
