About School Rumble

School Rumble is a Japanese anime series that was aired between 2004 and 2005. It is a romantic comedy revolving around the daily lives of high school students. The protagonist, Tenma Tsukamoto, is an eccentric and cheerful second-year student who is hopelessly in love with her classmate, Oji Karasuma. Also, Kenji Harima, a delinquent, is in love with Tenma. These unrequited loves, romantic developments, and numerous misunderstandings constitute the basic plotline of School Rumble.

Making/Production

School Rumble is based on the manga series of the same name by Jin Kobayashi. The anime was produced by Studio Comet and directed by Shinji Takamatsu. The series comprises of two seasons, each consisting of 26 episodes, and includes two OVAs.
