About School Spirit

School Spirit is a horror comedy that was released in 2019. It is about a group of social outcasts who are stuck in weekend detention at their high school. They are confronted by the school's legendary haunted mascot, who supposedly was a student who died in the 1950s and comes back to haunt the school every 50 years. As they face their deepest fears, they must find a way to defeat the evil spirit before it kills them and everyone else in the school.

The movie was produced by Blumhouse Televisions and Hulu, under the direction of Mike Gan. Despite being a horror movie, it is filled with humorous elements that balances the dark themes and scenes.
