About Science Fair

"Science Fair" is a 2018 American documentary film directed by Cristina Costantini and Darren Foster. The film follows nine high school students from around the globe as they navigate rivalries, setbacks, and hormones, all while competing at the International Science and Engineering Fair. As they face off against 1,700 of the smartest, quirkiest teens from around the world, only one winner will be named.

The story unfolds as we delve into the personable and quirky lives of these teen geniuses, all with their eyes on the prize. Cristina Costantini and Darren Foster, were able to capture the spirit of scientific discovery in a competitive setting, where every breakthrough was earned with hard work and determination. The documentary was edited by Tom Maroney and the cinematography was done by Peter Alton.
