Scooby-Doo! Legend of the Phantosaur is an animated comedy mystery film that was released in 2011. The story revolves around the gang travelling to a desert spa resort for Scooby-Doo to overcome his recent 'overdoing it' with eating. After reaching the spa, the gang finds themselves tangled in a mystery involving a legendary ghost dinosaur called Phantosaur that scares off the locals and tourists.

Making/Production

The movie was directed by Ethan Spaulding and was based on the characters from the Hanna-Barbara franchise. The animation was carried out by Warner Bros. Animation. The film combines horror, comedy and mystery which is typical of the Scooby-Doo franchise.

Actors

  • Frank Welker played the role as Scooby-Doo and Fred. His portrayals of the lovable Great Dane and the brave and resourceful leader, Fred elevated the movie's humor and adventurous feel.
