"Serendipity" is a romantic comedy film released in 2001. The story revolves around Jonathan Trager and Sara Thomas, two strangers who meet while shopping in New York and feel a mutual attraction. Even though both are involved in other relationships, they decide to spend the day together. Sara believes in destiny and leaves their future up to fate, and years later, Jonathan and Sara cross paths again and realize they are meant to be together.

The film was directed by Peter Chelsom and written by Marc Klein. “Serendipity” was shot in various locations, including New York City and San Francisco. The movie was produced by Simon Fields and Amy J. Kaufman under the production banner of Miramax Films.
