About Sidekicks (1992)

"Sidekicks" is a 1992 action-adventure film directed by Aaron Norris. It's a story that follows the life of a dreamy, asthmatic teenager, Barry Gabrewski, who fantasizes about being Chuck Norris’ sidekick. Overpowered by his daydreams, Barry imagines himself rescuing damsels in distress and beating up bullies with the help of his idol, Norris. The teenager's fantasies become reality when he gets trained in martial arts to overcome his health issues and eventually meets the action star.
