About

Silenced is a South Korean drama TV show based on Gong Ji-young's novel, "The Crucible". The show first aired in 2011 and quickly gained popularity for its powerful portrayal of sensitive social issues.

The story is set in a school for hearing-impaired children where severe sexual abuse takes place.
